Hello everyone
I just need your valuable suggestions as I'm the only TGT science in my new school in rural area and want to encourage students for learning science. What should I do in school level to create environment for the same? What kind of activities and programmes can be conducted in school.

Thank you

Ma'am you are doing good job. Number is not a matter. Matter is hard work and dedication. You can draw an innovative line among the students with modern teaching skills. Focus on practical ideas and discuss with students everything in familiar manner... best of luck.

hi madam...you doing a great job...see the student in rural area are more keen to do experiment then learning in class room because their day to day life belong to do activity...so and almost all the chapter in science need practical approaches instead class room teaching...if you have lab than fine make sure to do a experiment every day/gave a activity at home ..most the student like to do activity at home ...they may be less or more dont have resources but i thought they can manage from house hold waste...if not collect money from like minded people ..it cost rs 2000-3000 for lab equipment for tgt...level ...belive me all the chapter at tgt level can be done on activity based ....this is my experince once you develop the habit in student they .....can do rest their own...

Hi ma'am..to make the learning process fun and creative for kids, you can refer to videos and books at www.arvindguptatoys.com . Arvind Gupta is well known for popularising science amongst school kids by making simple toys from trash which even school kids can easily learn. This can help a long way in cultivating scientific temper in the kids when they can understand and relate to everyday events happening around us.
