LET'S THINK..........

The run for materialistic competition is widespread. We all are in the race either silently or openly, but we are not out of the race. Even the so called Spiritual Gurus preach their philosophy in public where the audience are well to do. They are also in the race of collecting more audience before they arrive at the Holy Meeting Place. We have become so much devoted to this materialistic marathon, that we have become attached to all the temporary pleasures of the world created by us rather than being attached to reality of life that is the divine philosophy of “Service to Mankind is Service to God”, “Hurting any creation of God is Hurting God”, “We have come from God, we will go back to God”, “Each living being is a child of God”, “God has sent us as a Messenger to work for the betterment of Mankind”, “We are mere God’s instrument to be utilized by God”, “Our life is only a count of few years”, “Truthfulness is Godliness”, “We live by our breath which God regulates”, “We all are dependent on each other”, “No one is Big or Small”, and so on.... But human beings rarely learn from the truths of life and the examples of the society. Avoiding all these realistic questions, we are crazy after the madman’s race. It is time we all need to think at present about where are we progressing towards? What type of life we are maintaining? How are we searching for our deepest urge? What is our ultimate aim of life? Are we free from fear? What is real education of our life? Where and when we are leaving with peace, bliss and joy? and many more questions which always haunt us. With such type of attitude in us, can we give our children really a life full of growth, divinity, wisdom and happiness? Let’s think......
Are we not selfish here, when we never watch our activities and for everything we go on blaming others? Self- introspection is a must for every individual. Starting from living an individualistic life, away from our parents and being far from any relationship with our family relatives and the society from where we have grown up. We are searching for peace everywhere except within ourselves. We like to speak more than what we do not know and are never ready to listen others. For everything we find our self made ego being hurt very easily. We have created an imbalanced society; say it in the form of job, richness, complexion, caste, sex, etc., but we sincerely never accept to be a player of these unsocial game. Some way or the other every one of us want to be placed in a higher place than the others instead of sitting together in the same level thinking ourselves as the same human being and the same creation of the Almighty. Materialism in any form is the root cause of all these discriminatory factors of the society. Is it not high time that we should come together and think of our future generation whom we are nurturing to take care of us? Let’s think......
Nurturing our future generation is nurturing the children within our family, in the school and also in our society. Therefore a child needs to grow equably in the family, in the school and in the society. Thus in the proper channelling of a child not only a particular person or institute is responsible, instead we all are responsible. In order to groom a child in the right path, should we not stop always talk negative of others without having the tolerance to hear a single negative word against us. We like to be praised, but never utter a word of praise for others. Rather than having a self-analysis, we make others responsible for all that goes wrong with us. Can we truly nurture a child with this attitude within ourselves? Let’s think......
Education and knowledge plays a vital role in an individual’s development. A child not only gets education in a school or a college, but he/she gets education and knowledge from the family members, family culture, neighbourhood, society, working environment, temples, libraries, etc. A child not only learns from the teachers, but also from his/her parents, relatives, friends, neighbours, etc. In this context, a question arises, what should be the real education and what should be the aim of education? What our contribution in making a child educated is and what effort we have given for a child to gain wisdom? Where are we leading our children to, “A Material Being or a Human Being”? Let’s think......
We need to learn from others and our surrounding of what we should do which is the ultimate truth instead of being provoked by the temporary illusion of the glittering objects which are not gold. Let’s learn from the “TREE”, of how TOLERANT it is to the environment in which it is growing. The adverse environment in which the tree sustains its living is the creation of this wise human beings, but still it never fails to give the its fruit, flower, shade and the essential oxygen to us. Should we not learn this GREATNESS of the TREE? Look at the SACRIFICE of the Goat, Cow, Pig or any other animal whose flesh we eat. We even like to be proud of purchasing fresh blood soaked mutton, beef, chicken, pork, etc. Just for the sake of the greed and happiness of the misguided human beings, these animals sacrifice their lives without any reluctance. Should we not learn from this SACRIFICE of the dumb animals and stop fighting and killing each other? We have polluted our own living environment but when problems arise we blame the environment as the cause of the problem. Really Ridiculous! Temporary solutions such as Air-conditioners, Room Heaters, Concrete buildings, Food Supplement medicines, etc., are not the permanent solutions to the adverse temperature, rainfall, health hazards and terrestrial calamities. We are declining in our thought process and so also we are teaching our future generation. What would happen to our next generation if we do not redefine our thought process? Let’s think........
Every human body is mortal. So also are we. But people like, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Utkalmani Gobandhu Dash, Biju Pattnaik, Chandra Sekhar Azad, Baji Rout, Bhagat Singh, Sir Issac Newton, Neil Amstrong, Madam Curie, Lal Bhadur Shatri, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, Kalpana Chawla, Einstein, Galileo, William Shakespeare, Robert Forst, Charlie Chaplin, Shankaracharya, Mother Teresa, Swami Vivekananda, Paramahamsa Yogananda, Shah Jahan, Roger Moore, Amitav Bachan, Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Sir Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar, Pele, Diego Maradona, Viswanathan Anand, Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati, St. Joseph, St. Xavier, St. Paul, Vinobha Bhave, Lord Buddha, Guru Nanak, Kabir, lord Mahavira and many more are immortal forever because of their deeds and contributions to the mankind and they have created history for themselves. They do not live by their body but live forever in our hearts and minds. They stand as the living examples for us who have lived all through their life selflessly and have reached the pinnacle of achievement and success. They have directed the path which we can follow to have a life of peace, bliss and joy. This is what the real goal for us is to impart to out next generation. The real teaching we should be sharing with our students and children. This is what richness, achievement and success means for a human being. Should we not make our children like the above examples rather than making them a money making machine and measure success of life as the amount of money and material they possess? Let’s think.........
At present, the educational system is directed to teach the art of living by earning more material comfort, rather than learning the art of life through inner calmness and the constant search for Truth. Modern education has failed to capture the real beauty of human life. Instead of growing in love , purity, divinity and God consciousness, a child is gradually tempted and corrupted into sinful activities, which is today’s world, the parameter of success. On the other hand, Spiritual education brings awareness of the soul, conducting to a life in self-knowledge, filled with harmony, peace, love, purity, truthfulness and honesty. Spiritual education brings perception of unity in diversity, of oneness without division and of peace without conflict. We have the two distinct paths to follow i.e., Materialistic Prosperity and Spiritual Prosperity. It is we who have to decide which of the path are the Ultimate Truth and the True Success of Life. Choice is ours. Let’s think................
