KidsRead2Kids - A Digital Reading Platform For All

KidsRead2Kids is a Parents' Choice Award winning nonprofit website and YouTube channel that was started by Dyslexic and ADHD siblings to bring the joy and confidence back to the struggling reader. 
KidsRead2Kids is a grassroots organization. Its free videos and online lesson plans are currently being used by schools, libraries, and parents in over 60 countries. it's an invaluable resource for online learning, especially during the Covid-19 school closures.
KidsRead2Kids provides free online resources for remote learning for teachers, parents and kids. To encourage a love of reading, KidsRead2Kids provides free audio books of abridged classic novels and simple decodable chapter books read by high school students and filmed chapter by chapter for self-paced listening. 
In addition, KidsRead2Kids has introduced a free comprehensive lesson plan to its abridged classic novel, Peter Pan. This lesson plan follows every chapter of the audio book available on the platform and includes vocabulary sheets and games, questions that test active listening, creative writing exercises, and more. Other lesson plans are in the works.

KidsRead2Kids also hosts an international KidsRead2Kids Book Club on Facebook where kids, parents, teachers, NY Times best selling authors, illustrators, librarians, and reading clubs post their favorite books and learning resources. 
KidsRead2Kids, believes in the importance of improving the self esteem of children who struggle. Its blog is full of practical advice. In addition, they have also been presenters at the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) Annual Conference and I am the Founding President of the IDA Youth and Young Adult Advocate Program.
